After years of knee pain I was referred to Mr Marcus Cope who showed me the latest xrays he recommended total right knee replacement,he gave me a date for about 6weeks later ,he pleasantly answered all my questions. I had my operation 29th July was back in my room after couple of hours ,all the nursing staff ,physios ,theatre staff and Mr Cope should be so proud of themselves for the wonderful work they do ,a truly amazing team X

I visited Mr.Cope as an N.H.S patient. The appointment was on time after a brief wait in an airy bright waiting area. Mr Cope was to the point and focussed on me and my needs during my appointment

Mr Cope listened to me from the start. His conversation made me feel relaxed and able to ask him things.. He was direct and affable. The op went smoothly and I was again able to ask questions at my follow up appointment. Extremely happy. Would be happy for him to do my next procedure when and if its needed.

I am a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon, performing about 500 hips and knees a year. I have previously worked at Southport and Ormskirk DGH from 2007 to 2017 and was the Clinical Director for the last three years.
I now work full time in the private sector seeing NHS (choose and book patients) and private patients. My time is split between two hospitals in the Ramsay group.
I can be seen at Renacres Hall Hospital (Ormskirk and Southport) and Fulwood Hall Hospital (Preston).
