Over the past two years, Mr Cope has, provided me with full knee replacements for both my Right & Left legs. Prior to the operations, in both cases I was in severe pain with a pronounced limp, this made both walking & driving extremely painful and difficult,. At my first consultation with Mr Cope, xrays revealed that I needed to have a full Right Knee replacement, I was immediately offered dates available for the surgery and within six weeks or so I had the operation. My left knee was scheduled at my 12 month check-up and was also undertaken within 6 weeks. Within a few hours of both operations I was up on my feet using a frame with the help of a member of the Physio team, progressing quickly to crutches around the room and the locality. I was in hospital for two days and was released after demonstrating to Physio that I was able to safely negotiate a set of stairs. Care following both of the operations was amazing and my recovery was swift in both cases. I cant thank Mr Cope enough for the change that both of these full knee replacements has made to my life, I can know enjoy my retirement as I can get around easily and without pain. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Cope for the excellent services that he provides.

Osteoarthritis is debilitating, painful and gradually reduces range of movement resulting in very limited quality of life. Ten years ago I injured my right knee and had to have a partial knee replacement. Earlier this year I had a full left knee replacement. Marcus Cope did both procedures brilliantly. He listens attentively, taking what you say seriously, answers all of you questions fully. From the start you feel in competent hands. Pain post operation needs careful management but within six months I was fit and active, enjoying running and playing with my grandchildren. I am very grateful to Marcus Cope.

I have had an excellent experience all round. Mr Cope assessed my hip and said I required an injection in the hip. I have to say because of the pain I was in with my hip, I imagined it would be a painful procedure. But he did the injection and I did not even know he had done it, a slight pressure is all I felt. I would not hesitate to have another injection done with Mr Cope. Highly recommended, he is very professional and friendly and happy to answer any questions. All the staff on the day were also brilliant. I am no longer ruled by the pain in my hip every day, I need to be careful but I can get on with my life once again and no longer require daily pain medication. Thank you Marcus.

Total knee replacement performed 6 weeks ago today. From the very first consultation to the post op review, the care and attention Mr Cope and his team have provided has been superb. Mr Cope’s professional yet approachable manner, his willingness to take time to fully explain what the operation entails and what to expect post op, puts you at ease and you know you are in safe hands. The staff at Fulwood Hall have been exceptional, their standard of care is exemplar.
