I have had 2 knee operations in a 8 month period carried out by Mr. Chowdry. The procedures were successful and have improved my quality of life. Mr Chowdry was exteremely helpful and informative throughout the procedures. Mr Chowdry was present before and immediatley after the operations to provide me with feedback and reassurance . Mr Chowdhry is an amazing and brilliant surgeon and has done a fantastic job on both my knees. My right knee was operated by Mr Chowdhry a couple of years ago and my lift knee was operated 7 weeks today (Friday 26 April) and I have an amazing bend, but still in recovery. Mr Chowdhry is a very easy person to speak to and thorough in his pre and post operation meetings - with a bit of humour thrown in. I have no hesitation to recommend Mr Chowdhry for any form of knee surgery. Thanks.

With the pain I had been experiencing I thought I was heading for a total knee replacement but Mr Chowdhry was able to reassure me that an arthroscopy would be the most suitable option at this stage. So right he was. The care I received at Woodingdean was exceptional, especially from the anaesthetist and his assistant. A particular mention should be made also to his secretary, Victoria, who was of great help in getting my operation brought forward due to a late cancellation.

From the initial consultation with Mr. Chowdhry I felt reassured about going ahead with the hip replacement. He explained the procedure and recovery fully. I would have no hesitation in returning to see him if needed in the future.

Dr Chowdhry was a breath of fresh air to work with after a number of years of not feeling heard by medical professionals. My knee injury was causing me significant discomfort for almost a decade, and from the first appointment, it was clear to me that he was willing to listen to my concerns and ensure the appropriate care was given to give me my life back. The process leading up to surgery was seamless and everything was explained clearly so I could make an informed choice. This was really important to me as someone who suffers with Complex-PTSD and I cannot fault any part of the process. Post surgery, I am getting stronger day by day and feel supported if I have any questions or concerns. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Dr Chowdhry enough and encourage anyone considering seeking treatment to go ahead. You will be looked after!
