Definitely sensitive to one's worries and re-assuring which is important to whatever age the patient might be. You do not feel silly asking questions he has heard many times before. Altogether a calming personality plus obviously very capable in his operating which makes one feel safe and confident.

My experience with Mr Chowdhry was excellent - as a sportsperson, he recognised my desire to get back to sports as soon as possible and his treatment and care was exemplary. He took time to explain the issue, the course of action and the results thoroughly. I would absolutely choose to be treated by him again, if I have another issue.

"I met the doctor in July 2023 and felt comfortable with him straight away. He assured me that I would heal within 6 weeks of my operation which I found hard to believe. I had my operation 8th March and felt really well 9th March and was discharged from hospital. My surgeon came to see me 1st and was very pleased with my progress. I found Mr Chowdhry very easy to speak to and he listened to me and put my mind at rest on all fronts. I would strongly recommend him to any one. My recovery has been amazing and 6 weeks after surgery I feel healthier than I have for the last 3 years, Thank you."

Mr Majid Chowdhry is an experienced and comprehensively trained knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon. His specific area of interest lies in sports' knee injuries, including ACL and complex ligament reconstruction, knee joint preservation, meniscal surgery, and hip and knee replacements. Alongside this, he performs revision hip and knee arthroplasty and fractures of the knee, hip and pelvis.
With such a vast range of available surgical skills, Mr Chowdhry can ensure that each patient receives a completely personalised and tailored treatment option.
His interest in sports injuries has come from being a keen sportsman himself. He is an honorary lecturer in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and contributes to teaching and research arms.
