Couldn't fault Mr Chowdhry at all. He explained everything to me before the operation and put my mind at ease. Found him very easy to talk to and did a wonderful job. I am now virtually pain free and can walk normally which I haven't done for a few years. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.

Mr Chowdhury is a consummate professional with the perfect combination of a really personable and reassuring manner and professionalism. He performed knee surgery on my teenage son this month and I could see by my son's reaction from their first meeting to the day of surgery that he was reassured and fully understand what was to happen to him; this shows how well Mr Chowdhury communicates with young people (as well as us the adults).
He gave a full explanation of the procedure afterwards which indicated how skilled he is at his work.
His secretary is also incredibly efficient and thoughtful too; with the volume of work she has to deal with, she remained one step ahead and fully understands what patients need.

Mr Majid Chowdhry is an experienced and comprehensively trained knee and hip orthopaedic surgeon. His specific area of interest lies in sports' knee injuries, including ACL and complex ligament reconstruction, knee joint preservation, meniscal surgery, and hip and knee replacements. Alongside this, he performs revision hip and knee arthroplasty and fractures of the knee, hip and pelvis.

His interest in sports injuries has come from being a keen sportsman himself. He is an honorary lecturer in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and contributes to teaching and research arms.
