I attended La Belle Forme in March this year for a consultation with Prof McCaul. He had been recommended to me for facelift surgery. My main issues were lack of definition at my jaw line and a double chin. Due to ageing I also felt I lacked volume in my cheeks which was making me look old. I was very nervous about this meeting as I had never had any surgery or facial injections before. I can honestly say Professor McCaul made this process so comfortable for me. He put the emphasis on what I wanted the end result to be and then advised on what we would need to do to achieve that. He went through the process step by step, he also showed me before and after photographs of a patient who had received similar treatment and this hugely put my mind at ease as it all looked to natural. There was no pressure to make any quick decisions just really helpful information given in a very straightforward and friendly manner. I came away from our first meeting feeling very happy and confident that I had all the information and that Professor McCaul would look after me and deliver the natural look I wanted. My main fear of this type of surgery was that it would look unnatural and false. I then met with him again and got collagen injection into my cheeks which was a painless and very effective process. My surgery followed on the 27 August and I really felt comfortable because of our prior meetings. On that day he again went over what would happen and was so understanding and reassuring. The outcome of the surgery is completely what I wanted and went exactly as he had advised. There were no surprises other that how well it all went. I am delighted and cannot recommend Professor McCaul and his team at La Belle Forme enough.

I would confidently say that the assessment, treatment, and post-operative care I have received from Prof. McCaul and his team is the best I have experienced. Two weeks ago I received a cyst removal (forehead) from Prof. McCaul. To start with, Prof. McCaul is extremely thorough with first-class communication skills. He is relaxed with reassuring manners, commanding, and a reassuring presence. His attention to detail is second to none. Prior to surgery Prof. McCaul explained to me in detail the exact nature of the procedure and the expected progress of the ensuing swelling, bruising, etc. All this added to my understanding of the final outcome of the procedure. I am 100 % satisfied and very pleased with the outcome of the operative intervention I received from Prof. McCaul I wish I had been aware of his practice in Glasgow many weeks prior as it would have saved a lot of time and stress visiting other clinics. The staff at La Belle Forme are extremely caring and positive from the minute I stepped in until I left the building after the operation. The whole team is wonderful in my experience. There are a few stars in this dynamic team including: · Felicity (nurse) is so knowledgeable and reassuring and on the few occasions that I wanted some information, she replied back within minutes. · Megan (Patient Care Coordinator). On all the occasions I rang and spoke to Megan she addressed my questions promptly. She is a great asset to the team. I firmly believe that Prof. McCaul is unique with his experience and expertise in being able to reach the best cosmetic outcome for his patients. I highly recommend Prof. McCaul and you will be delighted with the outcome of the operative procedure that Prof. McCaul would offer you if you decide to go ahead. Excellent treatment. First class team.

Professor James McCaul is an exceptionally skilled, confident and focused surgeon. He is most courteous, respectful and professional with a bright manner I knew immediately, under his expertise, I was in safe hands during our first consultation and he earned my trust and provided reassurance He has excellent communication skills and listened to and understood my concerns I can see he inspires confidence in others I had otoplasty performed by him. I first met with Prof McCaul two years ago at a private hospital in Glasgow following a referral to investigate a lump in my neck (which thank goodness turned out to be nothing of suspicion). I mentioned in passing to Prof McCaul that I had been bothered by my facial asymmetry for as long as I could remember. He explained the rationale for why I had this and he offered his opinions on what the options could be to treat this, should it be something I was to later consider addressing. No pressure to have anything done, in fact quite the opposite. I have seen him three times now since that first meeting, twice for treatment, and once him telling me it did not yet need repeating. Extremely professional and knowledgable Surgeon who is clearly not motivated to perform treatments that are not necessary. I have never looked back . Highly recommend.
