I first went to see Mr Polyzois for tennis elbow under the NHS. whilst this treatment was on going Mr Polyzois could tell I was in discomfort from my shoulder in the same arm. He quickly diagnoised that I was suffering from a shoulder impingement. I was dealt with quickly and was told exactly what would happen. The whole procedure was handled faultlessly, I was in great care. I am very happy to have met Mr Polyzois and if needed I would go and see him again. I have recovered exactly as informed right from the start. This was my first operation and even in the hospital he put my mind at rest and was very caring. I would recommend Mr Polyzois to anyone who needed treatment.

I’m a 32 year old Professional Wrestler. On Jan 13th, 2018 I ruptured my pec major at a show. Dr Polyzois performed surgery on this injury on March 5th. Dr Polyzois understood the urgency of my predicament and appreciated my need to return to full physical strength as soon as possible. I am now 9 weeks removed from Surgery and am delighted with the result. I have returned to the gym, have full range of motion in my shoulder and a neat surgical incision which has healed extremely well. I am hopeful to return to my profession in around a months time. I would not hesitate in offering my full recommendation to Dr Polyzois for this type of Surgery.

I am a serving officer in the fire and rescue service and had a serious fall where I tore three ligaments in my right shoulder. I was seen by Mr Polyzois very quickly through the NHS for a consultation and subsequently had the operation the following week. The operation went very well and after 3 months I have got a great range of movement back already. Still a long way to go but looking forward to getting back to full operational duties thanks to Mr Polyzois and his team

I consider myself very fortunate to have been under Mr.Polyzois's care ,from the first consultation to my last appointment , Mr.Polyzois and his team have been professional in every aspect. I had surgery to my right shoulder to repair two tendons and a sub - acrominal de- compression. I was relieved to have a sling post op.rather than a wedge and feel that I re-gained mobility and strength more quickly because of this decision..

I have suffered with shoulder pain for numerous years. My hobby is fishing, when casting out I heard a massive crack from my shoulder, I could not take the weight of my arm, at this point I arranged to see my GP who referred me to Mr Polyzois . I was given a MRI scan which showed a massive tear in my tendon, I am a retired builder/developer, this was caused by hard work over the years. After consultation with Mr I Polyzois, he suggested “Superior Capsular Reconstruction Surgery”, this is where a donor tendon is attached via keyhole surgery over the hole in my tendon. Mr Polyzois explained what to expect, he has an excellent manner/professional/ a good listener and very caring, he gave me real confidence in his ability. He did advise there would be a lengthy recover period, with regular physiotherapy. I have to say I am in considerable pain after the surgery, (3 months now) which I understand is to be expected, due to the complexity of this pioneering surgery. However working with the physiotherapist have gained a lot more movement in my arm and shoulder. I am really grateful that Mr Polyzois considered me for the procedure. I feel confident it can only improve. I do feel Mr Polyzois has done his absolute best to achieve good results and feel he has all the attributes for an excellent consultant/surgeon. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Mr Polyzois for all your care and attention.
