Mr Polyzois did my shoulder replacement, he communicated every thing that was going to happen in a language that I understood and he made me feel very comfortable about the procedure and his ability to complete the procedure. His after care has been brilliant and he continues to support me and provide me with relevant information. I feel very happy that he did my operation and I trust him to provide any future surgery

Mr polyzois is one of the best doctors I’ve come across. I had broken my elbow is a few places and had a complex elbow surgery. Throughout the process he was very kind and made me feel comfortable before I had my operation . Very good guy.

After breaking my right arm in December 17, I was recommended to Mr Polyzois by PPP. I found him to be very caring and professional throughout. Unfortunately, I broke my left arm in June 18, I had no hesitation in seeing him again . I am pleased to say I am fully recovered and would like to thank Mr Polyzois and his team at the Runnymede hospital.

I had a reverse geometry delta shoulder replacement on the 25th January 2018 performed by Mr.Polyois and his team. After being in extreme pain with my left shoulder before my operation I feel very fortunate to have met Mr.Polyois I found him very easy to talk to and he explained all the issues very clearly. After all the tests I was seen by Mr.Polyois again before the operation in hospital, he made me feel relaxed about the procedure. After surgery I had very little pain, he came to see me again while still in hospital and I was discharged within 48 hours I have been pain free after coming out of hospital. I am extremely grateful for the treatment that I have received. After having my arm in a sling for 4 weeks which I was advised to do. Then it is all about exercising to get the muscles built up and full movement in the arm again. I am still having checkups with Mr.Polyois, have X-rays before I see him which shoulda the new shoulder joint surgery which has been very successful. Thank you Mr. Polyois for the fantastic work and skill. A true gentleman with a caring approach. I would like to thank the whole team at Ashford and St.Peters Hospital for the care I have received. Kind Regards Mr. Michael Leach

My elderly mother, aged 82, at the time suffered with arthritis in her shoulder and unable to bear the pain any longer she decided to do something about it. She does have private medical care so took up the option to go down this route. She was seen very quickly by Mr Polyzois and he recognised that my mother was in pain immediately. He provided all the options available and allowed her time to think about these. These were clearly explained together with the risks involved of doing an operation on such an elderly person. The options were full shoulder replacement, or pain management with steroids. Once she has decided to proceed with the operation, the process was very smooth and at each stage everything was explained. The operation went extremely well and my mother recovered quickly. Mr Polyzois did stress that following the op the physio care plan was vital to the success of the operation and my mother was dedicated to following this plan. She did require a live in carer to assist with basic care to start with but her recovery was in line with what was expected and she was soon back to living on her own again. Throughout the post op reviews with Mr Polyzois he showed a genuine interest in her and she was delighted in 'showing off' how well she had recovered each time. So much so in fact, she is shortly returning to have her other shoulder replaced at the age of 83!
