My first consultation with Mr Spink was informative explaining the risk and benefits of having the procedure. It was a very balanced and clear description of what to expect and very much helped to calm my immediate apprehension. On the day of the operation Mr Spink visited prior to the operation to confirm I was happy to proceed and to answer any questions which may have arisen. After the procedure he explained the success of the operation, tested my ability to walk and I was able to go home the same day. My final meeting with him was 6 weeks after the operation, a little earlier than normal because we were going on a long holiday for a special birthday. I had progressed satisfactorily so he signed me off with the option to see him again should I feel I needed it in any way. I have to say the operation has improved my mobility greatly and his care and professionalism was second to none. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

6wks ago I had 2 level ACDF surgery with Mr Spink. The initial consultation scared the life out of me given all the possible complications but I made the decision to go ahead and I cannot say how pleased I did and especially with MR Spink! I follow a few pages associated with this surgery and the stories you read are daunting but my surgery, recovery and after care has been second to none! The scar I have is unbelievable considering what has to be done so I couldn’t recommend him enough

Professional and down to earth , very careful to assertain all other non surgical treatments have been explored before surgery . Manages expectations and points out and potential side effects from his treatment. Personally I will be forever grateful as my life has been transformed following surgery and I'm now able to return to work and resume my hobbies. My life now dosent revolve around painkillers !
