I previously suffered horrendously with pain in both legs as a result of narrowing around the spinal nerves at two points which George Spink diagnosed in his spinal neurosurgery clinic ,following various scans .I was given all the necessary facts and discussed the risks and benefits of surgical treatment to alleviate my problem and decided to go ahead and I have to say the result is overwhelmingly positive .I can now walk and function without the previous problems and now look forward to planning longer more taxing excursions . Many thanks to Geroge and his team in Spires who I found to be professional and caring.

Mr Spinks was recommended by a fellow neurosurgeon who felt unable to carry out the back surgery that my condition required. At the outset he explained fully the procedure and the risks involved before I made my decision. I found him extremely caring and understanding. The operation has been a total success and I am looking forward to playing golf again this Summer.

I saw Mr Spink 2 weeks ago as a ward attender. I was extremely appreciative of him fitting me in at the last moment even though he was also on call. It was self evident to me that he highly values the patient care that he provides. His manner was warm and empathetic. The consultation was detailed and informative. The examination was thorough and mindful of the pain that I was in. My options of care were clearly and fully explained with pros and cons of each option highlighted. I felt no pressure choosing the option of care that I felt was right for me. It was my fully informed choice. Following this assessment the agreed treatment was organised that same afternoon and I'm now feel much better for it. What more can I say other than thank you so much. Your care and professionalism is second to none. I would highly recommend Mr Spink without any hesitation at all. MG
