Mr Hossain was very helpful and friendly. He would listen to any problems I had and give good advice. During my surgery he explained the procedure to me very well and I felt I could trust him. During my rehab stage he helped me understand what steps I had to take to allow for a fast and safe recovery.

I was seen by Dr. Hossain for the first time when I was 13 and tore my ACL and he did the very first ACL repair in Manor Hospital on myself in 2019. From the very first time, he was very supportive and helped navigate me on my journey of recovery. I had a repeat injury when I was 16 and this time underwent ACL reconstruction and this surgery too was a success. Till this day I sometimes forget I ever had surgery and I have been able to go back to my normal sporting activity such as football and basketball etc. I just want to thank God for Dr. Hossain and his expertise.

I had complete confidence in Mr Hossain from the very 1st consultation, he discussed with me at length the various procedures and advised what was the best course of action for my operation but left the ultimate decision to me, i did take Mr Hossains advise and up until the day of the operation I was notified by Mr Hossain and his secretary about each step that was being taken before my date. Thanks to Mr Hossain and his invaluable expertise and knowledge I had my operation with no issues at all and the physio therapist and the nurse both commented how well the scar is healing and how well my recovery is going after such a major operation. I would like to say thank you again Mr Hossain for giving me my mobility back. This is just over 3 weeks post-op.

I had a complex total left knee replacement in March 2024 as an NHS patient at Little Aston Hospital. Prior to surgery I had special X-rays to give Mr Hossain the best information about my knee and posture. Having had treatment for ‘knock knees’ as a baby and the joint being effected by rheumatoid arthritis made it “complex”. The joint bled a lot during surgery and immediately post operatively but all was good despite a grossly swollen leg from groin to toes and unfounded fear of a DVT. Four months on and I am delighted with my knee which feels strong and secure. Mr Hossain could not have been more caring and considerate had I been a private patient and he was quick to organise a scan to exclude a DVT when the NHS was slow to do so. I will have a final X-ray and appointment in December when I anticipate discharge from his care. I consider myself so lucky to have been placed on this surgeon’s list as I had no prior knowledge of his expertise and if I had used my savings for this surgery I could not have done better. If you want empathy, attention to detail, expertise, excellent follow up and a good outcome this is your man.
