Mr. Evangelos Tsialogiannis

In 2021 I saw Mr Evangelos Tsialogiannis who advised me I needed my right hip replaced he was very thorough and explained why I needed the operation and how it would improve my quality of life. I had my operation within weeks and immediately my pain when walking was greatly improved. At my check up it was explained that I also needed the left hip to be replaced and in November 2022 this was carried out in Dickins ward by Mr Tsialogiannis and his team. Although my stay on the ward was brief all aspects of the procedure were explained to me as it was a different process to the first op with a faster recovery time. I am pleased to say that 8 weeks on I am walking without any aids, my sleep pattern is good and I am able to lay on both sides. My quality of life is greatly improved and I am looking forward to the years ahead. I would totally recommend Mr Tsialogiannis and his team to anyone needing treatment for their sympathetic support before during and after both operations.

On my first visit he listened, understood and offered a solution I was not expecting (I had excruciating pain in my knee but needed a hip replacement!) I was impressed with the treatment and care received when I had the operation, everything was clearly explained by Mr Tsialogiannis and his team and the procedure was efficiently carried through. The operation result has been life changing for me as I can now walk without a stoop and no pain (before the operation I could just lurch about indoors)

I had a hip replacement operation performed by Mr.Tsialogiannis. From the initial consultation, through the surgery and to the post surgical follow up he was excellent. He took time to explain everything involved and patiently answered all my questions. I certainly benefited from his particular surgical technique which enabled me to enjoy a swift recovery period. I feel extremely lucky to have had such a very nice and very skilled surgeon.

Mr Tsialogiannis operated on my foot last year. His subject knowledge is superb and alongside his reassuring confidence and willingness to listen to the patient, made me feel extremely comfortable with both the procedure and his own competence. Post op his follow ups were thorough and he definitely has the patients best interests at heart and needs to ensure the operational is a total success and you are aware of any follow ups necessary or change in life style to prevent recurrence and/or improve healing. His manner is that of somebody who honestly does care for the patient at an individual level. The operations' objectives were a success and any visible scarring is minimal/hardly noticeable which in a patient at risk of keloid scarring is indicative of the quality of his workmanship. His secretarial support team are also very professional and helpful and easy to work with to arrange appoints, follow ups and for advice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Evangelos, use his again and even pay for his service out of my own pocket if I wasn't insured!

For the last four years or so I’ve chosen to ignore the fact that I might need a hip replacement. I’m a very active person and hated the thought of what I thought would be a long rehab period after surgery. However, I need not have worried. Mr Tsialogiannis uses the Minimally Invasive technique and it was only a short period after the replacement before I was back to normal. It’s really nice to have someone like Mr Tsialogiannis who knows exactly what his patient is experiencing. I didn’t have to worry about trying to remember my history and symptoms. I was put at ease by his professionalism, kindness, caring and sense of humour. He was approachable and happy to answer any questions I had. I didn’t need to know the exact details of what was going to be done because I felt as though I was in a safe pair of hands. He understood how important it was to me to return as quickly as possible to all my sporting activities and encouraged me in doing so. My recovery was un-believably quick and I don’t regret having had the replacement. Would I recommend Mr Tsialogiannis? Most definitely, every single time.
