Have just had my left hip replacement performed by Mr Hartwright at RHCH Winchester and cannot speak more highly of his professionalism and superb manner in all aspects of my treatment. He explained all aspects of the procedure and I felt very confident that I was getting the best possible treatment. I would highly recommend both Mr Hartwright and all of his team.

I found Dr Hartwright to be very open and approachable. He explained every aspect of the whole experience, both pre-op and post-op. This I found to be very reassuring. I now have a 125mm zip on my left hip. Six weeks after my "op" I am pain free, can walk up stairs with two cuts of tea, and look forward to many happy days ahead thanks to Dr Hartwright and his surgical team and dedicated NHS staff.

Dr Hartwright takes his time to listen to my mother’s concerns and to carefully explain his answers to any questions. He seems genuinely pleased with her progress and is very encouraging. I truly trust his opinion and highly recommend.

I was fortunate to have both my hips replaced by Mr Hartwright in 2019 - the right one in February and the left in July. My recovery on both occasions was remarkably swift - I was walking without aids and hardly any discomfort within a month. Since the operations I have suffered no discomfort whatsoever in my hips and have been restored to full mobility - in terms of stretching; bending; twisting, kneeling, etc. An unlooked for benefit has been that my consistent knee and back pains, from which I had suffered for a number of years - and which I thought was arthritic - disappeared once I resumed my normal gait after recovering from the operations.

Mr Hartright has carried out both my total hip replacements ,both operations attained excellent results and fantastic aftercare . Nothing was too much trouble ,everything explained in detail ,honestly and precisely My experience with Mr hartright gave me lots of confidence and understanding of what to expect. A fantastic consultant /surgeon ,and a perfect gentleman ,I believe there is non better
