Mr Makki was incredibly encouraging from the get go. He was extremely informative and ensured I received the care I needed in a timely manner. Plus my shoulder feels amazing and I couldn’t have hoped for a better surgeon! Please also note I was treated at spire harpenden but there isn’t an option below for that

I was first referred to Mr Makki for tendonitis in my shoulder. He was very professional, understanding of my condition and gave me a steroid injection for the pain. This didn’t work the first time however he asked to see me 6 weeks later. In the meantime I had a fall and had X-rays at Watford General hospital who fount no issues but gave me a wrist support but sent my X-ray to St Albans. Mr Makki’s secretary called me and asked me to come in to see Mr Makki. At the time he examined my hand which was a bit better and he explained exactly why he had called me and wanted to see me 6 weeks later. I told him that my shoulder was really very painful. He immediately looked up the notes and X-rays and gave me another injection in a different place which has taken away the burning pain I have suffered for almost 3 years. He is my star! He has now given me an injection intro my painful hand.for which I an so grateful. I wish more doctors would listen.

I found Mr. Makki approachable, friendly and professional. He put my mind at ease each time I was worried and answered any questions I had. I was a bit nervous on the day of my carpal tunnel surgery, but him and his team soon had me at ease and smiling. I felt relaxed and knew I could ask a question at any time. I was relaxed and feeling positive and happy after the surgery. Thank you very much Mr. Makki

I had my operation for carpol tunnel at harpenden spire hospital on the 16th April . Mr makki was,amazing before .during. and after my op and took the time to explain everything in detail .I am due to go back in six weeks for the same op .on my other hand and after being treated very well. Dr makki has put my mind at rest about having this op especially how nice everyone was in the operating theatre Well done Mr makki and also well done to all the staff in the hospital .thank you Darren mcgarvie
