He explained the problem and showed us the scans and how he would remove it. He said he anticipated it would be a Meningioma and could be removed. He explained the scar and that the operation would be likely to take about 5 hours. We met with him prior to surgery and he reassured us that surgery would be as he had previously explained. After surgery Mr Kolias called my wife and told her the operation had gone very well and all of the tumour had been removed and that I was in recovery and she could visit me there. My care in recovery was carried out by Alex and she was excellent. Care on the ward was also excellent. At follow up appointment Mr Kolias showed us the latest scans and was pleased with the result, he checked my scar and said it had healed well. He explained that I will have a further scan in a few months.

Dr Angelos is knowledgeable and the best in his area of speciality. He is direct and kind. My diagnosis journey was scary, he did not only reassure me, he gave me hope and much more. After reviewing my MRI scan in September, he knew mine deserved a level of urgency; against all odds, he ensured I was operated upon in October. My surgery under his 'knife' was successful and even nurses and other doctors told me I was lucky to have him as my surgeon while I waited in the Ward. He removed a big tumor beside my Pituitary gland, no CSF leak, my sight restored and I am fit like he told me I was going to be even before the surgery. Post-surgery he has plans for me, creates time to assess me and kindly follows up on the other units to ensure adequate post surgery monitoring. I volunteered to encourage any of his future patients that is afraid of a similar surgery to mine; that, I believe is the only way to show my appreciation for his great work and commitment to humanity. He genuinely cares, he demonstrated his love for life and mankind. I can read and type on my phone again without wearing Glasses, thanks to his timely and decisive intervention. He is a doctor of doctors, an example of humility, kindness and world class expertise. From me, it is a strong recommendation 100%!

I was referred to Mr Kolias for pituitary macro-adenoma removal. He explained the procedure clearly and concisely in our first consultation and took time to answer my questions. On the day, he saw me before surgery to reassure me and check I was ready. His manner was calm, supportive and highly professional. I felt really well prepared. The surgery itself was clearly performed with great skill and expertise, as I have been able to judge from its success and my strong recovery. After surgery, Mr Kolias visited me more than once during my short stay on the ward and took what really felt like a personal interest in my progress. Finally, during our consultation to review the surgery outcome, he again spent time with me and personally arranged additional follow-up. In short, I have had a wonderful experience under Mr Kolias' care and cannot recommend or thank him enough. He made a daunting prospect much easier for me to approach with understanding and confidence. I cannot honestly think of anything Mr Kolias could have done differently or better. Once again, thank you, thank you.

Mr Kolias is an excellent doctor that listened closely to me and my issues, explained everything regarding the procedure in detail and provided all the necessary reassurance. And after the op he visited me very often to make sure I was OK.
