Listen to what the patient is telling you particularly signs and symptoms. As a health care professional my self I was disappointed with regard to this Doctor not listening to me and my symptoms, she was only interested in telling me what medication she was going to give me and that I would have to change my lifestyle and diet. It is if she was reading from a script. I had to speak to another Doctor the next day.
