Dr Leech was very thorough in explaining the procedure/risks/possible side effects of putting in a port prior to the operation. He was also very helpful in answering all my questions post the operation. Many thanks to Elizabeth Leech for booking/arranging the operation in such short notice. Everything went very smoothly. Kims Hospital has very nice staff everyone working together. The nurses on the Ward as well as everyone assisting in the operating theatre were very calming and reassuring. I'm a little sore but that's to be expected. definitely the better option for chemotherapy patients. Thank you

I was referred by Genesis care as I needed a port fitted, I was promptly booked in by Liz who is very informative, friendly and efficient. I turned up at Kims Hospital was welcomed and lead to ward by a porter, the nurse’s there very kind and Dr Leech made me feel at ease, it was a very small quick operation under local anaesthetic which was pain and stress free, afterwards I got a light lunch which was nice, was in and out in under 3 hours, also a lovely neat job! Thank you Dr Leech see you when it’s time to get it removed

I was greeted with a smile which I found reassuring. I also found Dr Leech friendly and professional. Everything was explained to me thoroughly so I went into the operation understanding of the procedure. Everybody is so different with situations, I find humour, strength and positivity gets me through so many issues, I found I had the humour with Dr Leech and his staff but it did not take away the professionalism and seriousness of the task in hand.

Very pleasant man who explained everything. We spoke during the op to insert a port and he visited me back on the ward to check all was ok. I felt I was in good hands and he told me he had done many of these ops. All in all very reassuring. The scar was very neat and healed well. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I recovered and there was less pain than I expected - just a bruised feeling for about 36 hours. The site is working fantastically well and it has made all my blood tests and treatment access so easy. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone
