An exceptional practitioner - Dr Rhys is empathetic and listens to you as a patient. Visited as I am struggling with stress related issues. Dr Rhys asked questions to determine the cause of my stress and was able to decide upon treatment from my answers. This period of illness has not defined my treatment which is an altruistic approach to take. Dr Rhys has understood and treated my case individually, advising of steps that are suitable to my current needs. A textbook response to my current issue would be medication, however from his careful and considerate consultation we both understand that this is not the right path and I have been given multiple healthy alternatives. I have also been offered advice external to my medical issue which will help to improve my wellbeing. The support offered was above and beyond normal expectations, Dr Rhys provided his time (as much as I needed - not rushed at all) and his expertise. I am grateful to have such a GP available to me, and have complete faith and trust in his judgement as my health professional. I have no recommendations for improvement here, I left my appointment feeling much better than when I arrived.

From the start of my consultation Dr Rhys has given me the best treatment I’ve received from any GP. He has always listened and asked probing questions, he always fully explains the treatment and medication. I’ve never felt rushed and always have long consultations, far longer than any other GP I’ve seen. I feel Dr Rhys has gone above and beyond my expectations of caring for me. I feel really lucky that I’ve been seen by such a great doctor as I feel 100 percent better than when I first saw him.

I would like to express my deep gratitude to Dr Rhys who helped me find myself again and begin to enjoy life. I suffered from insomnia for a very long time, which began after childbirth, and the sleeping pills prescribed to me did not help at all. I honestly tried all possible methods, followed all the recommendations, waited until I could fall asleep and sleep for at least longer than 30 minutes. My night turned into a nightmare, I often woke up, and then could not sleep for a long time, even if my child slept soundly all night. After endless sleepless nights, I could barely make it through the day, feeling overwhelming fatigue and irritation. I didn’t understand what was happening to me. I knew I could be better. I really wanted to find myself again and stop experiencing this devastating feeling of fatigue. I once again turned to the medical centre for help. This time I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr Rhys. He listened carefully to me and began to ask questions, plunging deeper and deeper into the search for answers to them. It is well known that the effectiveness of treatment depends on the correct diagnosis. I was very impressed by his approach to solving my problems, as well as his desire to help me. He did not want to jump to conclusions, but also wanted to take the first step in the right direction. Dr Rhys suggested that I had postpartum depression, which is sometimes not so easy to diagnose, and asked whether I was ready to start taking antidepressants. I was ready for anything. Already two weeks after starting taking antidepressants, I stopped waking up feeling tired. My sleep gradually began to improve, as did my mood. I again wanted to enjoy life and make plans for the future. Thank you Dr Rhys! You helped me get back to my old self. You are much more than just a doctor.
