Dr Papadatos is very easy to communicate with..
When I was first told about my lung cancer I could not see 5 years ahead but he reassured me at each appointment and treatment choices
I have now been under his care for over 5
At all my appointments he has taken the time to explain everything including best treatments for me
I fully trust him with my ongoing care.

It has been a pleasure being cared for by Dr.Papadotos-Pastos. When I was diagnosed with lung cancer he explained clearly about my treatment. He gave me all the information about the type of chemo I was going to receive. I was treated very quickly once I was told about the cancer. He was very compassionate towards me and showed empathy. I’m so glad I was treated by Dr. Papadotos-Pastos.

Dr Dionysis Papadatos-Pastos, is an excellent doctor, and a great man. From the first time, I was seen, he made me feel comfortable and then he explained, my diagnosis and the treatment, that I would require.
All the appointments I’ve had with him, he has treated me with respect and empathy. I’m very happy, Dr Papadatos, is taking good care of me.

Dr Papadatos-Pastos has an enormous amount of knowledge, care and kindness. From the start of my diagnosis, he reassured me every step of the way and explained everything in full leaving me feeling totally confident and at ease.
From the start of my treatment, Dr Papadatos-Pastos continuously explained everything I needed to know, I had no question whatsoever I was in the safest of hands, any questions I had along the way were answered and explained without hesitation, he is an amazing man who really cares for his patients.
All the doubts, anxiety and stress immediately disappeared.
I have regular calls as to how I am getting on with the treatment and any concerns I may have. Having the best oncologist looking after me is extremely reassuring for myself and my family.
I am so very grateful for Dr Papadatos-Pastos looking after me.

Profile
Dr Dionysis Papadatos-Pastos is a consultant medical oncologist in London. He is the lead for lung cancer in the CRUK UCL Clinical Trials Centre and the joint lead for oncology at The Princess Alexandra NHS Hospital.
He specialises in the treatment of lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymoma. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in cancer management using treatments such as immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and chemotherapy.
He graduated in medicine from the University of Athens with distinction, which was followed by his PhD in medical oncology in 2012 with First Class honours. He trained in medical oncology at The Royal Marsden, St George’s University Hospitals, and Guy’s and St Thomas’. He was awarded a diploma in medical oncology from the Institute of Cancer Research at the University of London.
Dr Papadatos-Pastos is an avid researcher and has been the principal investigator on multiple academic and commercial clinical trials. He has also presented at conferences, nationally and worldwide. His topics of research include the development of novel targeted therapies for the treatment of lung cancer, and assessing combinations of immunotherapy drugs with other anti-cancer compounds. Furthermore, he has been widely published in scientific medical journals and peer-reviewed papers.
