Mr David Sercl MD, FRCEM, RCPathME is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and a Dermatology Surgeon for Surrey & Sussex NHS Trust working, with Sussex Community Dermatology Service. He obtained his medical degree from King Charles University in Prague and is a fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and Royal College of Pathologist, he has a background in Neurosurgery from training programmes based in the Czech Republic and United States of America. He also has an interest in Cosmetic procedures and scar management.

Mr Sercl is actively involved in teaching and training medical students and is a clinical and educational supervisor for junior doctors at SHO & Registrar levels. Other accolades include acting as the Medical lead for the establishment of an electronic division at the Trust and facilitating the paperless system within Surrey & Sussex NHS Trust.

As a senior medical doctor Mr Sercl also works as a Medical Examiner, in this role he provides independent scrutiny around causes of death having been trained in the legal and clinical elements of death certification processes.
Mr Sercl is patient focused and meticulous in the care he provides his patients, always aiming to recognise individual needs and treat each patient with a holistic approach. He takes great pride in providing the high standards of care that the public have come to expect with warmth and compassion.
