I was unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with breasts cancer and was referred to this doctor. Due to the situation with Covid -19 I only spoke to him over the phone. He took the time necessary to explain my situation and possible treatment, he was clear andvery sympathetic. I couldn't have wished for a better consultant.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic I did not get to meet Andrew in person - but had the pleasure of a phone consultation with him in regard to radiotherapy treatment for my breast cancer. He was very thorough in explaining a couple of treatment options to me and ensured that I fully understood potential side effects. He listened when I raised questions and again, gave a thorough response to those. On deciding which treatment option would work best for me I received a phone call the following day with an appointment time and date as promised. I could not ask for better treatment.

After being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2018 at the age of 32, Dr Eichholz provided care which - in my opinion - was exceptional. He was empathetic to my diagnosis and the life I wanted to lead after my treatment and helped me with a plan that hopefully will allow me to do this. Empathetic and reassuring, his delivery in explaining my cancer was softened yet factual and direct. I believe this contributed greatly to my mindset in dealing with this disease. The level of detail he provided was brilliant (as I am someone who writes down EVERYTHING and has a million questions) and I always felt he had my best interests - he remembered every conversation we have had from the previous appointments - making me feel less like a statistic and more like the care was being tailored to my individual needs. His follow ups and understanding of a few issues which subsequently arose, made me feel like I was being properly cared for, even after my operations and treatment. Thank you Andrew!

Dr Eichholz is a very gifted clinician who takes great care with his patients. He listens well to any questions you have usually before he explains the next course of action. He is clearly very knowledgeable as an oncologist and takes the patients wishes and lifestyle into account when discussing treatment- he allowed me to go on a pre booked missionary trip before starting radiotherapy. Although dealing with an area of medicine which is not always easy for the patient he always has a smile on his face. Going to see Dr Eichholz you really feel like you matter and he doesn't rush through the appointment. If you have to see an oncologist I would highly recommend Dr Eichholz.
