"Everything and nothing". El Sadadin quoting what Jerusalem meant to the Islamic faith upon the fall of Jerusalem to said El Saladin, Kingdom of Heaven.
Brilliant people, great approach, youthful and infectious enthusiasm, which no doubt rubs off on some patients especially me. Love the intro board. Says everything about the ward.
More nicotine access required for heroin addicts as otherwise it's the same nicotine punishment regime as Ashurst ward. All stick and a few carrots.
Staff were helpful, they were always ready to talk
On the most part nurses and staff were helpful. In particular John, Wareth and Ola. I had difficulty appreciating Dr Chaplin's perspective. I agreed with him except on my medication, and I feel there was disregard for both my experience and the work of my psychiatrist. With that said, I think he had my best interests at heart. I think medication should be given when patients need it and not given as a timetable.
I believe the ward is "as good as it gets" in Oxford and that most of the staff are doing their utmost to care for my son. The criticisms I have are to do with lack of resources - and this comes down to NHS funding. It is also not ideal for Daniel to be on a standard Acute Male Psychiatric ward since he is on the ASD spectrum and the ward conditions aggregate some of his symptoms so it's hard to say whether I could recommend phoenix to someone else with mental health conditions.
Need to spend more time talking to psychiatrists. As to better understand patients. Need to talk through problems. I recommend psychotherapy as an alternative.
I can say all was good in there, alright and the test was good also.
The staff were kind today.
Sim organised well and should be encouraged in their role.
However as per usual, there is not enough information on the ward about times for various activities and this is hurting patients.
This area needs working on our complaints will be made.
However; so far so good.
Keep up the good work.
Spent too much time in seclusion.
Keep changing it up and it will be difficult to find the chosen 1.
Nurses always listened to what I had to say
