Caring., considerate and extremely professional. Able to rest and get better in a wonderful environment.
The food was excellent and I have put on weight.
Remove controls for TV's in rooms - I had cellulitis of my left leg and getting up and down to change channels was painful.
Overall the care was first class. Very attentive staff with a smile on their face. I don't see any room for improvment.
Surgery who very thorough and the ward staff were very attentive and caring.
Good care,
Very happy with standard of care received.
All of the staff were ,helpful, kind careing and attentive. They made me feel reassured and talked with me and answerd my questions.
The food was very good and nicely presented.
T.V. - most unfortunate that this does not work.
Drains in the bathroom smell rather strong.
Make ward so above not applicable.
Staff really react to requests quickly.
Admitted at short notice with minimum difficulty, having been discharged two days previously.
I have felt comfortable despite and being a woman on a mens ward! (in a side room)
Nursing staff and health care assistants hae been (with are exception) warm, efficient and encouraging and resp[onsive to my needs.
The staff on the day shift were brilliant, helpful, caring and nothing to much trouble.
Keep it up.
Staff were all very caring & attentive. They (the nurses in particular) have a difficult job but always make sure you are looked after and care is high quality.
Improvements - the delays with theatre - appreciate it can get busy & need to cancel ops at late hour but can communication be improved so patient not left without food or water for such long time and the ward is aware of what's happening. Lack of beds also meant I was on wrong ward initially so I could have a bed but staff were not sure for my care as I was surgical.
