I have confidence in the fact that if the doctors at the surgery are not sure about my symptoms they refer me to someone with more knowledge of them.

No appointment necessary in morning surgery, so wait can be long but they have the sense to give an approximate time so you can go home/ do other things and call to see if there are further delays. Doctors are thorough so 10 minute slots are unrealistic. However they do get through the list.
