Thank you for giving me back my quality of life, from the moment I went to Cavel Hospital on 9th February. I was booked in for an operation for a new hip. I was reassured of all procedures and treated with care and respect. The aftercare was good and nothing was to much trouble. I work within the medical profession and have worked with tonnes of surgeons within the NHS and private sector. My mother requires a hip replacement and I have chosen Mr Atkinson. His work has always stood out for me and patients always come away with successful results. At the consultation he was so lovely to my mum, he has a really nice way with patients. He was very welcoming, polite and thorough in his explanations. He made my very anxious mum feel at ease within minutes of talking to him and come away so happy and excited to see him again for her operation. Mr Atkinson is a true gentleman and is one the best surgeons I have ever worked with and I’m very happy I have chosen this surgeon for my mother.

I cannot fault the care I received from Mr. Atkinson, he is caring and helpful , when I was in some slight difficulty post knee replacement he was responsive with advice and a review of analgesia. He will listen to your needs as a patient and give clear honest advice and guidance. A true professional who I would recommend, Thank You for everything.

Mr Atkinson is totally focused on developing the right solution for your surgery in consultation with you. Throughout my journey he made sure I understood the risks and benefits of the surgery. He treated me as an individual throughout. To say that 2 weeks after my total hip replacement I was walking without sticks and able to cycle for 30 mins on an exercise bike should give you an idea of how could he is. If that is not recommendation enough I don't know what is. Brilliant patient centric suregeon
