At all stages of my knee replacement operation I found Mr Henry Atkinson a surgeon who cares about his patient and gives you time to question him about all aspects of the medical procedure. My procedure went with no hitch and I am now seven weeks into after surgery and improving each day. I found Mr Atkinson has a wonderful bedside manner and although a top surgeon in his field what makes him stand out is he can speak to you at a level you can understand and with humor. I feel that Mr Atkinson is gifted in doctor/patient relationships. I can not speak more highly of him and I would recommend him to all who seek an excellent, reliable surgeon.

after two years of permanent daily pain due to a botched knee operation at Charing Cross Hospital (which gave me Deep Vein Thrombosis as well) the NHS sent me to BMI Hendon. Mr Atkinson immediately explained what he could do for me and offered me a date for a keyhole operation at BMI Hendon at the end of January. I have never been so well looked after. I am now free of pain and can walk normally. I would recommend Mr Atkinson without any hesitation. not only is he excellent in his field but his manner inspires confidence and he gives you his undivided attention when you are with him.
