Mr Henry Atkinson filled me with great confidence the first time I saw him . He knew straightaway what was wrong with my foot which other people in the medical profession misdiagnosed for nearly three years. He is a perfect gentleman. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who has a problem. In fact my dad's knee needs replacing and i said he should see him. I found him a very down to earth guy. I don't think you can improve on perfection

Right from the outset I knew that Mr Atkinson and I would get on well. He made everything crystal clear on our first meeting, set out a clear schedule for my operations and paved the way for them to happen in the time agreed. His relaxed and friendly approach took all the stress out of the situation and the resulting twosuccessful replacement knee operations within two months of one another are testament to his skills as a surgeon. Without hesitation I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking lower limb surgery and have already done so to several friends.

He was excellent from start to finish. Very attentive to all pain management. I had 2full knee replacements and he made sure I was aware of the whole procedure. I would thoroughly recommend this surgeon l had so much pain before I saw him and now I can live a normal life totally pain free

Mr Atkinson has remembered me and greeted me with warmth and friendliness each time I have visited. As someone who is anxious around medical issues and hospitals, this has meat a lot. He has always provided time for me to explain how I am feeling (never making me feel rushed) and has responded to the many questions I have had with kindness and understanding. He has been direct in his communication, which I have appreciated, and has provided information in such a way that has enabled me to understand. Regardless of the inherent consultant / patient power balance, he has always spoken to me as an equal, adopting the manner of a more knowledgeable friend. I feel grateful to Mr Atkinson for what he has done for me so far and secure in the knowledge that the door is open for me to return in the future if necessary.
