After suffering from rapid heart rate and missed beats for 14 months after covid, and being dismissed by another GP, thankfully I saw Dr Iyer, she listened , and did a few basic tests, which resulted in medication , which when taken had such a fantastic result I felt so much better immediately. I felt so reassured by Dr Iyer and her open approach and non dismissive response . Thank goodness I got to meet this Dr.

i had been seeing the other gp's for a problem for two years, i was continually being diagnosed as having gastric reflux, i saw dr.Iyer as it was getting worse. i was denied a referral for Colchester hospital but dr.iyer pushed for me at Broomfield, she also organised an US of my abdomen as i had increasing pain. unfortunately a mass was found and i was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma. tumour at 5cm. i was fast tracked and had surgery, and completed chemo and now am cancer free if Dr.Iyer hadn't of pushed and got me referred i probably wouldn't be here today. thankyou for giving me my future, i will be eternally grateful xx from a loving mum of two xx and bride to be :)

My back went into spasm and I have had regular contact with Dr Iyer. Who has been very understanding in getting me prompt diagnosis and physio in order to get me back to work. The telephone appointments really worked for me. As in the early weeks I wasn't comfortable being mobile and wouldn't of been able to get to the surgery. All my appointments Dr Iyer has answered all my questions I feel I have been well looked after

I have had both face to face and telephone appointments with Dr Iyer, both have been extremely thorough. My symptoms were listened to to gain the a correct diagnosis for treatment. She is very understanding, comfortable to talk to, giving a positive way forward. I have had an ongoing back pain for a year and by her listening to me she sent me for an x-ray which confirmed I have a bone fracture. She is still looking after me, an excellent understanding doctor. “THANK YOU SO MUCH”
