I joined the island surgery may 2023 i have always been impressed with the service i have received. it is difficult to get an appointment but that seams to be everywhere right now i'm not sure why since covid has now become a norm in life. i have seen a lovely doctor at the surgery twice Dr Smita Iyer, she was through, attentive and i didnt feel rushed. i really felt like she actually cared and gave her time and attention to me. she followed through after the appointment as well. i would request to see her again. the online request when you have an issue is a massive bonus to the surgery, not all surgeries do this but i think it works incredibly well as sometimes you really don't need to take up and appointment.

being able to get appointments sooner than 2 weeks would be good, its a long time when your suffering.

A few weeks and months ago I’d really struggled trying to get appointments for my children when they were poorly and this made me feel like getting an appointment in future would be near on impossible. I was wrong, I did an e-consult for my son for a non urgent skin issue but the staff reviewed it straight away and within a few minutes I’d received a phone call from them and was asked to bring him in that morning. Check in is easy and the surgery is always clean. My son saw Dr Smita Iyer and I have to review this to sing her praises. She took lots of time and was so thorough with him. She explained everything well to me and showed me example photos. She was patient and kind to my sons at the appointment, and wrote everything down for me for his treatment. She’s a great Doctor.

On this occasion absolutely nothing.

A really complete service I cannot fault it . Always ready to accept the latest technology run by truly compassionate and caring Doctors and staff, cannot help is not a word used .
