My elderly mother saw Dr Ward after suffering with a problem with her ear. Dr Ward did not even look in her ear. Told her to go to the chemist to get bicarbonate of soda. She is also on regular medication, one of which is available over the counter. Dr Ward told my mum she won’t be prescribing it anymore and she has to buy it. I understand the stretch the NHS is under, but her tone and attitude towards my 80 year mother is poor.

As told in the last review Dr Lucy Ward is a fantastic GP. She is very kind, always has a smile, sits back and actually listens to you ,which sometimes is just as important as medical help. I would and have always highly recommend her.

Dr Ward is the most caring, patient, kind, sympathetic, approachable GP. She never appears to be rushed, she listens intently to her Patient and appears to instantly grasp the nature of the Consultation by listening and questioning. Her knowledge is vast and she gives good advice, not always resulting to the Prescription of drugs.
