From the very first meeting with Richard my husband and I were put at ease and made to feel he completely understood our situation, he always listens and is approachable at all times, and he answers emails or voice mail swiftly. His knowledge and advice has been, and continues to be most valuable, he makes the experience of dealing with cancer more bearable and he always has the time to explain things which consultants don't. Frankly we couldn't want for more from a nurse.

I can not speak highly enough of Richard. He is a truly genuine , honest and caring gentleman. When I first meet Richard my cancer had many problems due to problems shown on MMR scans which Richard arranged promptly . He always was at the MDT meetings and keep me informed promptly. If I felt the need to email or phone him his replies-were very prompt. Well I have had my operation to remove my left kidney and ureter and have no treatment required only regular check ups, I am so lucky with all the service I have had from Richard. Thank You Richard.

Richard Turner was one of the second person I saw after being given my results. He is courteous and explains things thoroughly, carefully, compassionately and was responsible for organising a CT scan to be done extremely promptly. Whenever he says he will do anything at all he does just that. He is a great man to have on your team

When I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March this year Richard was designated as my MCNS and I can say that I am so very grateful that he was. I mainly used email as a means of communication with Richard and he has been my sole point of contact for everything I needed. He has been superb in answering all my questions and representing me at the Urology MDT meetings. I still can’t get over how promptly Richard supplied me with such excellent answers to my questions and nothing was too much trouble. Richard is simply one of the best communicators I have ever come across and combining this with his wealth of medical knowledge and excellent organisation skills I have felt so reassured having him as my MCNS. It is a great comfort when you are able to have so much confidence in your MCNS as I have.
