I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in July/August this year. During several scans, biopsies, and various other tests, I was introduced to Richard Turner & Lorraine Rigg. Richards qualities are to numerous to mention, but the ones at the top of the list are: Knowledgeable, honesty, patience and listening skills second to none. Richard has been the instigator of several appointments being speeded up, and has explained the complexities of my options in Layman's language. I am now in the process of having an initial consultation/pre-op assessment shortly - with a view to having an operation t remove my prostate in early January. Whilst this is still a very worrying & uncertain time for my wife & myself, Richard is always there for a chat, e-mail correspondence, and anything we need. I am sure I will be able to rely on him for anything I may need in the future. Many Thanks Ian Plant Keswick

Richard made the shock of hearing that I had prostate cancer a lot easier to deal with with his calm and empathetic approach. We felt supported from day one as we knew we could contact him at any time and he would get back to us if busy. His time was very appreciated.

I was diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer 3 years ago,while living in Spain.My private Health plan pulled the plug on me once they realized it was going to cost a lot of money (but that's another story ).I returned to the UK and within a very short time was seen by the right doctors,a treatment plan was put in place,(Homo Therapy,radiotherapy ) This is when l met Richard,from the start he was a Star,l had no one in this country,and l was used to fighting my own battles,but this was different.He was at the end of a phone and whatever question l needed answering he got back to me within a day.Things are better now,my PSA levels are back to normal,but l will never forget the Dark days,when l thought l was going to die!! Richard helped me through this period in my life and l will never forget the time and effort he put in on my behalf.
