Thank you to all the staff at Wrexham Maelor for the outstanding care and respect they have all shown me from the cleaning staffto the nurses, doctors and surgeons.
Too many people like to bend down on the NHS well, I think you've been marvelous. Be very proud of yourselves cause you've nailed it.

Having visited A and E last Thursday in horrendous pain and waiting for 5 hrs and without anyone the service was completely different and reinstalled my faith in the NHS.

Excellent staff, very friendly, well trained in all aspects of customer care.
Hospitality i.e tea, coffee and refreshments were very welcome whilst waiting for procedures and departments.

The level of dignity shown to all patients by all staff is exceptional on this very heavy, orthopedic ward. In particular, incapacitated elderly patients, were always treated with respect. A verbally abusive patient living with dementia was at all times, respected and treated with kindness. However, it was very clear the ward is understaffed and nurses in particular did not feel they could do all they wanted to do to the staffing levels and the number of patients being cared for example checking patients needed assistance with basic hygiene. Also I was on a mixed sex ward, which isn't ideal and should be avoided.

All the staff treated me with dignity and compassion. The medical care was excellent. The ward was light, warm, comfortable and clean.
