The care i was given after given birth to my son was excellent, the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They were all very caring towards my son. All i would say is that new mum's need plenty of food and drink and i think the portion size is too small for us new mum's. All of us on the unit were asking our partners to bring in extra food as we were always hungry.

The staff on the ward I cannot fault but my experience leads me to believe there is a lack of communication between doctors and patient. Following a procedure, I was not informed of the outcome, the next step in my treatment wasn't discussed with me and on the Tuesday the doctor came to tell me of the procedure I was to have that morning..I informed him it had taken place the previous day..much to his surprise..Finally I was referred to e.n.t where I was fully informed of procedure and discussed at length the treatment and follow up.Had I been directed to e.n.t sooner I believe my problem would have been addressed quicker.
