Staff were great but think they could of sent people home with small ailments

Treated people with stubbed toes, small injuries straight away to free up seating and inform people of yhe expected wait.

The department was very busy but I was treated quicker than I expected and was kept informed throughout

The nurses who I saw couldn't have been any better

The only thing that could have been done better was that the catheter should have been changed the previous night when it was apparent it was blocked. This would have meant I didn't have to go through a very painful night.

The triage nurse I got to see when I was first admitted was not very kind about me not being able to walk well and me having been given a wheel chair to use. She also googled my symptoms in front of me and when I asked she denied me any pain killers and said “she dealt with it for a week she’s fine” the doctor I got to see was kind and did help but the reception area was over crowded. Also there was an elder lady admitted and she was bleeding very badly and when me and another lady told reception about it it was ignored until they noticed the blood was pooling around her on the floor she sat like this for about an hour while people who came in after her were getting seen before her this to me is a really negligent in my eyes and it didn’t look good at all

Some of the staff can have a better attitude and listen to the patients without having an attitude and also check the elderly patients first when they have cuts as they are at risk of bleeding out

My expectations were high. I expected triage to prioritize and that happened. I expected to be informed at all stages and that happened. I expected to have my injury dealt with and that happened. I didn't expect a concierge service, we're not American, it's a hospital so all in all a perfect result for all. A* because you're worth it.

Seen by the triage nurse, who was quite pleasant, sat and waited for 2 hours, for a doctor to then say, in the middle of the waiting room, that they would not see me, but I had to go back to the hospital I had my operation at. This was without examining me, I had seen my local practice nurse who advised for me to be given stronger antibiotics for a foot infection. I would have appreciated to be spoken to in a private room and for the doctor to have actually examined my foot, prior to just been sent away. Appalling treatment.

I was treated with kindness and dignity. I was in and out of the hospital very quickly and the I was dealt with very promptly and with advice to help me deal with my complaint. Brilliant service all round
