The department was extremely busy but staff were doing the best they could in difficult circumstances. When I was eventually seen, the nurse was kind, efficient and went that extra bit as it was her time to go off duty, but she stayed till I returned from x-ray so she could dress my arm and close my case. A true professional.
Overall excellent service. No delays. Moved seamlessly between various departments. A prompt and professional service.
I was seen within a reasonable amount of and dealt with swiftly enabling me to return home.
Everyone was great. The chairs are uncomfortable and the booths are a bit flimsy but the staff were excellent.
Nat who treated me was wonderful as was Abi in X-ray
Didn’t have to wait very long - first class service
Staff were under pressure but still were polite and patient. Special thanks to Rosanna in X-ray and the young man doing the CT scan who both told me their names and were very kind.
The staff who we dealt with were very polite and very apologetic about the delay in being seen.
The ambulance team were great came quickly, put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable. The A&E staff were great too, i was soon made comfortable and had blood taken, wasn’t waiting long and was soon in a cubicle. Staff kept checking on me to ensure I was ok and the doctor kept me up to date on what was happening.
