No bed as I expected as I have sacroilliac joint injury and can't sit/stand for long - I was last so waited 4 hrs in a chair! Lovely staff though not their fault.

Bad, not kept informed enough about what was happening with my care. parent not allowed on ward before visiting time when I was due to have my operation even though my notes showed I suffered with anxiety and way really really scared about the operation and I was in a side room. Left with no fluids for 19 1/2 hours while waiting for operation.
Good - ovely, friendly and very informative evening staff.
Staff member stayed with me until I went into theater as I was very nervous. This really made me feel at ease.

Sat 26th pm shift from 5 pm. I had a leak from drain which dripped on floor so sat in chair waiting for dressing. Got is dressed at 10.45 but the pool of fluid left on floor despite mentioning 5 times it needed cleaning. Eventually cleaned it up myself with disinfectant wipe on end of crutch.
Rest of stay the care was excellent on all levels.
Discharge seemed extremely slow advised could go home at approx 9.15 am. Still waiting discharge papers at 16.40.
