I feel some of the night staff have got attitude and it upsets me
Thank you for your review. We will be discussing attitudes of all staff at our next ward meeting and I am sorry that you felt some staff had been rude to you. We take all feedback seriously and if you would like to raise your concerns with our Ward Matron she would be happy to investigate any issues whilst maintaining your confidentiality.
Food is good and flexible to my needs.and I find that the staff enjoy there jobs as it is tough ,I find being a doctor myself I still find the care with no fault
Thank you for your kind review. We do not underestimate the impact of not being able to have face to face visits with your family and look forward to lifting restrictions when it is safe to do so.

Thank you for your kind review.
I feel like I am at the Ritzs thanks
Thank you for your kind review. Although you noted more physio input would be an improvement it is good to remember that rehab is "24hour" and every intervention with rehab nurses will help you move towards your rehab goals.
All the staff go beyond there jobs
Thank you for your kind review. I note you have concerns around involvement; we are trying to keep patients and their relatives involved in goal setting and discharge planning with the use of mobile apps but appreciate that it will not replace face to face contact and we do not underestimate the impact of COVID working whilst we are trying to keep, patients, their relatives and staff safe. . We are looking forward to a time when it will be safe to accommodate visitors on the unit.
Very kind people ,I have had a amazing experience and thanks
Thank you for your kind review.
The questions above that I did not answer, were not relevant to my situation.
I was very impressed with the turn around time of one week from making initial enquiry with my GP to speaking to a Physiotherapist.
I wasn't sure about having the assessment over the phone, however, the Physio that I spoke to did a very good job. He listened to me, was clear in his questions to me and the instructions he gave me were easy to understand. I felt he was calm and patient and aproachable.
The follow up instructions arrived straight after the appointment. They are clear and written in a way that makes sence.
I was pleased to receive the link to the nhs online fitness video's as I didn't know about them before and will make use of them over the lockdown period.
I asked for my records so I could see when I last saw my psychiatrist. I last saw my psychiatrist dr aftab on 5th April 2019. I was struggling with my depression /anxiety and feeling suicidal . It says next review date July/August 2019. I did not receive a letter inviting me to an appointment or a telephone call either. I had no check up /follow up to see how I was doing until I rang in and asked to see or speak to dr Aftab in July 2020 as I was not coping and not sleeping. I got a telephone call not face to face appointment because of covid probably. I had no idea when she would see me again or check on me and I have now seen it says on my care plan that she made no further appointment for me as I was under the scm program. I had to ring in November 2020 and ask to speak to dr aftab about trying a new antidepressant as I was feeling so low and suicidal again and the duty person said I can’t talk to her but they will discuss me in their next meeting next week. I saw my scm worker later that week and asked again to speak to dr aftab as I have not seen her for over a year and a half! Evie my scm worker said she’d try to get an appointment with dr aftab even if over the phone as I wanted to get a medication review as I was stopping some of my medication that was not Helping me and wanted to try another antidepressant or medication that would help my depression which was making me not leave the house , not enjoy anything and stay in bed crying most days. I couldn’t even come to my scm appointments to see Evie as my anxiety or depression was so bad and I wasn’t going out. I am annoyed that dr aftab never made a follow up appointment to see me in 2019 and 2020 as she would have known I was struggling and needed a medication review. I am also annoyed when I asked to Speak to her in November 2020 I was only giving phone calls back From duty workers and told I couldn’t speak to her ! I thought I was under her care and expected regular appointments to check how I was doing on different medications and would have the chance to say I wasn’t coping and wanted to change medications.

Georgina was lovely on the phone consultation. Very thorough with her questions. Full explanations given so I understood what had happened and how we are are going to solve the injury with exercises. After bad experiences in the past with physiotherapists it was so refreshing to talk to someone who has not prejudged me and just wants to help me get out of pain. 10 out of 10 so far
I have been waiting for an appointment since the beginning of the year and have not had any form of contact other than to inform me I would be asked for a phone consultation in august which I never received.
When I was offered an appointment in late october I wasnt able to attend as I was working and the appointment was booked at too short notice.
