It was a very calm, relaxed atmosphere. My son was very anxious before we came here, however, he soon felt very relaxed once starting the session and realizing it was a safe space. I particularly loved the explaining to children how grown ups also can find it difficult to regulate emotions as this helped my son to understand if I have in the past shouted, this was not his fault but something I need to work on

[name removed] was an absolute godsend after weeks of battling with breastfeeding and a poor latch. She instantly diagnosed a tongue tie which we got snipped and are now exclusively breastfeeding. I was ready to give up but she listened to my concerns, was so sympathetic and kind and made me feel less like a complete failure! We wouldn’t still be feeding without her support.

We battled for weeks with feeding and no one mentioned tongue tie to us at all. It was only when I independently contacted the Infant Feeding Team that we got answers. It would be useful to have known more about the service earlier on I.e upon discharge from hospital to save weeks of despair! Either that or training midwives to actually check for tongue tie!!

The nurse I spoke to on the phone who booked me in was so lovely, the nurses who took my blood were really lovely and reassuring. Thank you so much
