Our health visitor was lovely! Had a lot of knowledge to share and really took the time to get to know us.
Always were smiling and helpful in advice they've given
All staff were supportive, knowledgeable and kiind throughout
Our health visitor was [name removed], she has been extremely supportive towards me as a new mum. My anxiety has been high and [name removed] has helped me a lot spending time talking to me and helping me feel listened to and like I have someone to talk to. I never felt our appointments were rushed and afterwards always felt a lot better in myself and with any concerns I had. She has also helped me with the referral to IAPT and checked up on what the outcome has been which has shown her care and compassion. I felt comfortable allowing [name removed] to handle my baby and carry out assessments on him, she was great with him and any worry I had she would always check, making me feel respected and listened to regarding his general health and well being. I felt no worry of mine was too big and I wasn’t made to feel like I was over reacting. [name removed] has helped myself and my partner make informed decisions about our baby by helping provide us with different resources and evidence regarding feeding, safe sleeping, vaccinations, support classes/groups and more so that we can make the best decision for us as a family.
Great service no complaints
[name removed] was personable, friendly and knowledgeable. We always felt listened to and understood, with [name removed] going above and beyond to provide care through her own knowledge as well as useful links and information. We never felt like a ‘number’ as [name removed] always made us feel like her only patients with no rushing or palming off questions or queries.
Thank you for your utmost care [name removed], and all the best with your next adventure :)

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Regarding tongue tie assessment – this involves a full feeding assessment and an oral examination which focusses on the function of the tongue, not the appearance. It is a specialist skill that takes time to undertake to a high standard and so we wouldn’t be able to train the whole health visiting workforce to do this. All staff receive 2 full days of infant feeding training on appointment and have regular updates. We encourage staff to refer into the Infant Feeding team if there are feeding challenges that they have not been able to improve, and then the specialist team would do the tongue tie assessment which ensures consistency and quality. We hope this explains why we don’t train all staff but if you have any further questions please do contact me on 07834150205. Thank you. Emma Goulding. Infant Feeding Clinical Team Lead.
Very helpful staff, easy location
The staff were lovely and engaged my child well. The workshop had an informal and low pressure feel.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the review, and for your helpful comments which I have noted and will feed back to the team to consider. I hope your child has continued to be able to utilise some of what was shown on the day
My family support worker was [name removed], she was amazing. She’s was so supportive with me and my son and helped with unanswered questions and worry’s I had about him. She also was there for me to express my mental health worry’s that I had to her. I was listened to and that meant the most.
Am going to miss working with her
very good service
