The clinical care provided by the respiratory team was top class. However, no one seemed clear on where was supposed to be going, I was first directed to completely the wrong floor, and as consequence, even though I arrived on time, I was 15 minutes late for my appointment having been sent to the wrong floor and the wrong team.
In addition, the seating in all reception areas needs thought. I've got a completely dislocated rib, making the seating in these areas close to lethal. I ended up perched on the edge of every chair, just so that I could ventilate. I felt as if the priority for the furniture was appearance with no thought given to the fact that this is being used by people who, by self-definition ARE ILL!

Thanks to Ruth Whitby I was able to get an emergency appointment with Christopher Sawyer who referred me immediately to Mr Bhan. I was in a great deal of pain and emotional distress and all took great care of me and solved my issue.
