Friendly staff and very caring mum enjoyed the food. Found the ward environment a bit depressing being in the basement (Dark and dingy).

All the staff on the ward are amazing, they will do anything to make the stay more comfortable. All are professional and have a good sense of humor (often required on a ward like this). The food is excellent and presented very well and the domestic staff ensure the wards are spotlessly clean. All hospitals would benefit from seeing how this ward operates. All the staff should be very proud and the NHS should acknowledge staff who provide excellent service.

A very pleasant and friendly welcome by all the staff. -Access to coffee/tea provided. -Again welcome. Pleased to go into theatre exactly on time!

Clinical care excellent in all aspects administration could be improved greatly! I have had to chase all but my most recent appointment, admin staff need to understand corporate responsibility rather than try to pin blame elsewhere, patient needs to know appointment will be sorted, not whose fault mistake was.was not. Secretary/RBS blamed each other, no one ever apologised for mistakes. I retired as a physio manager here so I understand "the system" and can be proactive in sorting appointment myself. But some patients cannot do this and would wrongly trust the system. Centralised systems like RBS carry high risks.
