Chase farm was very nice & made me feel welcome , the after care at Barnet was excellent and the doctor Dr Parks was excellent & caring ..thankyou
I don't have enough words to thank the entire staff who tirelessly looked after us at the Barnet Maternity wing. It was a fantastic experience. Right from the training sessions, to admission process to the birth and finally the post delivery care, everything was beyond expectations. We had chosen a water birth and were provided with a fantastic Sunshine Suite which was massive and very clean. Amanda Sealy, who was the community midwife helped us through the entire process. We had a team of midwives, paediatrician and other specialists who helped us even in the smallest requirements. They trained us in feeding the baby and taking care of his basic needs. Overall would highly recommend Barnet Maternity to anyone and everyone for the top quality service standards. We felt like we were in a private hospital. Keep up the great work!!!
The clinical care at the Barnet fracture clinic was excellent but the administration fell short. The phone line is always engaged and there are long waiting times. There are no information leaflets on plaster cast care or who to call with concerns. At times there are mix ups with the appointment arrangements. The administration arrangements lets the service down.
I have been very happy with the treatment and care that I have experienced at Barnet Hospital.
It is a very busy hospital but it seems to me that all the hospital staff whether medical or otherwise have worked effectively and have taken what time and trouble was necessary to assist with my recovery and I am most grateful.
The priority of the doctors was to get you out of the ward asap. No TLC
Very little feedback from the medics / consultant
I do not have confidence to leave my elderly mother in their care
On one occasion penicillin prescribed even though allergy to penicillin was described in the notes and red wrist band was worn
On another occasion the discharge summary for another patient copied and pasted incorrectly - vary scary, talked about oesophageal cancer, end of life etc when the actual admission was for a urine infection
