Stefi took the initiative to organise an appointment for us with Dr Church to discuss DNAR.
Dr Church is fab! He was empathetic, kind and pragmatic.
I also really like that Stefi has organised a care plan for my partner, so we have a straightforward and simple document that carers and medical professionals can use if we have an emergency situation.

Despite doing the Doctorlink on Monday I am still waiting to speak to someone about an appointment- 5 days later!
Why you can’t just make an appointment is beyond me

Quite difficult to get through on the phone. Easier to go to surgery, however not always possible due to work commitments.

I'm assuming because of Covid the service was dire, trying to see anyone was hopeless. Now in May 2022 it's a different picture, but getting to see a GP still takes weeks but is easier with other clinical staff. I'm hoping when the new surgery is built that it will encourage a complete turnaround. A new building designed to improve everything for everyone should result (one hopes) in a new spirit of professionalism, and they can leave behind the indignity of being in "special measures".

We are hoping to recruit new GPs and are of course pleased to have other practitioners working alongside our GPs. The new built will be exciting as you say and hopefully be excellent for both staff and patients and will enhance patient services in all areas. We are striving hard and working closely with the CQC to improve our inspection results. We are delighted to hear you find our present team of receptionists to be all the things you mention.
