Nursing team were brilliant in dealing with my post operative wounds

Meeting wit the doctor was poor. I came with issue which could have been associated with previous ailments. The Doctor just took 3 lines of notes, examine me and came back with a poor answer on what could be the problem and also from a particular sensitive question subsequently asked.
It would have been better, if the doctor actually shown concerned by asking some relevant questions, and by trying to narrow downs some potentials issues associated with my problem.

I had a scan on my abdomen and the surgery arranged to contact me by phone to discuss my results. Because I had an emergency dental appointment and the clinician was unable to contact me by phone, I was given a face to face appointment the very next day. The doctor spent time drawing a diagram and took time to inform me of my options. The doctor also gave me information on another problem I mentioned. I was very pleased with the surgery and the doctors involved even though neither of them were my regular doctor.

Long delay in answering phone at reception.
Quality of treatment once seen is good.
Communication via Internet very varied in successful outcome.
Recently things seem improved.

The receptionists are all lovely and helpful but whatever they say is going to happen doesn't. I don't think this is their fault so they should have 5 stars but the terrible service may be the whole system.
