The nurse was brilliant. My appointment was cancelled due to staff sickness but when I called to rearrange their were no appointments available as I was told only 2 weeks in advance are bookable and I would have to call back again
I appreciate our Doctors and their teams are very busy, It would be most appreciated if the mechanism for getting a n on the day appointment was clearer

The care given to me by Dr Saunders during a procedure for a coil fitting was excellent. Everything was explained well and I was kept informed throughout. Dr Saunders was completely professional but was also caring and receptive to my needs through out the appointment. She looked after me when I was feeling unwell after the procedure and made sure I was ok before she let me leave the surgery.
My consultation with Petula was excellent - she gave me lots of information about what was going to happen - circulation test with Doplar
And explained all the reading and what they meant.
The appointment system is mad!!! It has been suggested that I have an appt with Dr G
At surgery as he specialises in skin complaints. I have a scan/lesion under my left breast which has appeared over the last month and has now lost its scab so is a sore spot. Petual says it should be checked and I agree. It is NOT an emergency so it’s mad to ring at 0800 and use an appt that somebody needs more urgently. Why cannot I book an appt with a specific doctor a week or so ahead?
I shall discuss with receptionist when I come for Covid/Flu jab on Saturday.
