My appointment ran very smoothly.
For something that isn’t time critical it is easy to get an appointment. If someone is worried about a medical problem then it is challenging to get through having to call early to get an appointment or having to wait for days to see someone. I appreciate that the surgery is busy though and there is the option of calling 111( or whatever the number is. )

I was able to check-in through the self service machine so contact with the receptionists were not needed on that occasion. My appointment was made with my mental health team and I was able to allocate time off work to attend the appointment, so everything was efficient and timely. The help I’ve been receiving has been very helpful.

Sometimes it is quite quick, other times it takes so long to hear you’ll have to try tomorrow.x I am always worried about phoning for an appointment.
