A diabetic nurse called me via. phone. The appointment was for 09:10am the call came through at 10:20am. Not the nurses fault. The consultations are for 30 mins, the notification txt messages assumed for 10 mins.
The question/ answers with the nurse was informal and instructive and useful. The nurse was knowledgeable and had a nice manner to inform me of options.
It is notoriously difficult to make an appointment due to the shortage of staff and the large number of patients registered with the surgery.
Receptionist has been very helpful recently with all my questions
It has been really hard to get an appointment in the past, but easier more recently
Appointments are usually very hard to obtain, although during out recent experience Tania (who is amazing) kept a follow up call booked at every appointand, then saw our son each time. This was brilliant continuity of care and was a huge relieve to know that we could access our follow ups and support of needed. (Which it was, as he was very u well)
