I had to have both my hands operated on within a short space of time, I have a needle phobia and was also very anxious about being operated on whilst staying awake! Philip Soave was a great support and made the whole experience as pleasant as possible, he and his theatre staff ensured that my mind was taken off the proceedure whilst letting me know what was happening without the graphic details!
