I have now met Dr Janakan on two occasions, once for surgery and another in a follow up consultation. As such, he has has always been clear and concise with his communications. This has resulted in myself understanding the full process of surgery along with the implications and risks associated with the relevant procedure. He has also put my mind to rest by welcoming any additional questions that I may have and has been open and transparent with the options available to me post surgery. This has ultimately helped me make an informed risk based decision on how I would like to proceed with future procedures. Overall, I have been extremely happy with the patient/doctor relationship and have no constructive feedback on how he could improve his interactions.

Very professional and reassuring thoughout the whole procedure. Dr Janakan called before the operation, we met the morning of the operation, after the operation and I have just had a 6 week check up and all went well. I cannot recommend this surgeon enough. He is clearly an expert in his field and I feel very lucky to have ended up under Dr Janakan's care.

I didn’t meet Mr Janakan until the day of my operation. He was very personable and talked through the operation and answered any questions I had in a manner that gave me confidence. I met him again for my follow up appointment and again he made me feel very comfortable, even when he imparted some unexpected news. I felt I was being looked after by a well oiled system.
